Weekly workout recap – ringing in the new year

Hi there! Just wanted to share a quick overview of my workouts from the last week….most of which was still vacation (I went back to work on Wednesday).

I didn’t make any fitness-related resolutions for the new year. My goal is the same as always – stay consistent. Being pregnant and then the postpartum journey and adjusting to being a working mom of two will take up the entire year, so consistency is all I can ask for from myself. And it works for me!

I am really looking forward to getting back to the gym. I’ve been doing A LOT of at-home workouts since…well, Thanksgiving, I guess, with various commitments, sickness (Vera’s and mine) and the holidays. I’m starting to get into a video rut! I’d love any suggestions for your favorite at-home video workouts!

Last week’s workouts: 

Friday: 30-minute HIIT video

Saturday: 20-minute cardio intervals video

Sunday: Rest

Monday: 20-minute prenatal yoga video + 10-minute cardio video

Tuesday: 30-minute kickboxing video

Wednesday: Rest

Thursday: 10-minute HIIT video x 2
