I am so glad it’s Friday…how about you?? No particular reason – I had a good week! – but I’m just ready for quality time with my crew. Mike and I are hoping to sneak out for a date night, plus Vera and I have our last dance class. FINGERS CROSSED we all make it through the weekend healthy and that there is no freak snowstorm. Anyway, below I’ve recapped last week’s workouts and mapped out our meal plan for next week – as usual.
Two quick thoughts before I dive into the details:
- While my workouts are feeling good overall, swimming felt incredible on Monday! It’s a solid workout, low impact and just really helps with my circulation, I think.
- It also feels great to be back in the meal planning/meal prep/healthy, fresh dinner game. 🙂
Last week’s workouts:
Friday: GrooveRyde event – 25-minute boxing and bootcamp class; 25-minute spin class; and 25-minute Buti Yoga (my recap here!)
Sunday: 30-minute HIIT Cardio and Core (at-home workout)
Monday: 35-minute swim
Tuesday: 20-minute yoga workout + 10-minute quick cardio workout
Thursday: 20-minute cardio intervals (at-home workout)
Next week’s meal plan:
Tuesday: Slow-Cooker Sausage and Peppers (with pasta instead of on rolls)
Wednesday: Better Broccoli Casserole
Thursday: Black Bean Skillet with Cheese Quesadillas
Friday: Leftovers or takeout
